Do What You CAN Do Now

If you’ve set a goal and it’s looking impossible to accomplish, don’t give up. You do NOT need to know how it will all work out, you just need to see it done, feel it done, and then keep moving forward “as though” it will be accomplished.

Even if you don’t know how things are going to work out next Tuesday, there’s something that you CAN do, TODAY. Do what you can do today. Once you’ve set the vision and allowed yourself to feel it as though it’s done, get busy focusing on the now. Make that phone call. Prepare for the success you expect to enjoy.

By the law of Cause and Effect, you don’t have to “go the distance”, because with each step in the right direction, the success you seek takes a step toward you, too, and effectively meets you in the middle. Let this idea keep you moving forward.

So if you intend to sell a widget, have you got the widget in hand, ready to sell? If you intend to make a business deal, do you know what you’re bringing to the table, and what you expect to receive in return? Is it vague, or is it in writing? Putting your goal in writing forces you to get clarity, and clarity is what the world around you needs to feel from you before it will respond with the help you need.

Do what you can do TODAY to prepare for the success. There will ALWAYS be something that pops into your mind of something you CAN do, so stop ignoring it! Get up and do what the thought said to do. That’s called learning to recognize and follow your intuition.

Whether you want to call it your gut instinct, inspiration, intuition, or the inner voice, it’s time to start paying attention to it and trusting that it’s leading you to where you told it you wanted to go.

If you’re not getting any nudges one way or the other, then it’s time to set a goal! No more vague wishings. I’m talking about identifying at least ONE thing you absolutely intend to accomplish, no matter how long it takes – big or small, it doesn’t matter. Just name something that you are THAT committed to. And then listen for the nudge that kicks in to give you an idea of something you can do right now to get you closer to it.

You can absolutely expect a nudge to show up, once you’ve made the quality, intent decision of what, specifically, you plan to accomplish.
